SCHOOL OPAL CARD

The School Student Transport Scheme (SSTS) provides eligible school students with free or subsidised travel from home to school. The scheme includes:

Free travel to and from home and school on the approved train, bus, ferry and light rail services during the school term
Discounted travel on buses between home and school

Please visit School Student Transport Scheme for more information. The bus service provider in the Northern Beaches area has changed from State Transit Authority (Sydney Buses) to Keolis Downer Northern Beaches. Students, parents or carers applying for a School Opal card will need to nominate Keolis Downer Northern Beaches as their bus operator.
