Mission
St Paul
St Paul’s Catholic College prepares students to be conscientious global citizens, ready to lead with courage, compassion and stewardship.
Courage – St Paul exemplified true courage, despite the challenges he faced, he travelled far and wide to share the teachings of Jesus. He was encouraged with the words, “Be not afraid.” Similarly, we encourage St Paul’s students to embrace courage in their learning journey. This means being willing to tackle difficult problems and take risks, knowing that growth often comes from stepping outside of comfort zones. Remember, courage is not the absence of fear; it’s choosing to do what is right, even when fear is present. Learn with Courage.
Compassion – St Paul walked with Christ and demonstrated compassion and respect for others in his actions. Just as he took the time to understand others and see the world from their perspective, we encourage our students to do the same. Compassion means showing empathy and kindness, while making thoughtful choices that contribute to their own learning and the well-being of others. By considering how others feel and acting with respect, we can create a positive and supportive community. Walk with Compassion.
Stewardship – Everything we have is a gift from God, and it is our responsibility to care for each other and the environment. As members of the St Paul’s community, we are called to share our gifts of time, talent, and resources, managing both our surroundings and our relationships thoughtfully, whether in or out of the classroom. Stewardship shapes our understanding of life and guides how we live. Just as God entrusted St Paul with the gift of communicating his message to the many communities he visited, we are entrusted with the care of our world and the people in it. Live with Stewardship.
