CatholicCare is a not for profit non-government social care organisation that has provided professional services to the people of the Catholic Diocese of Broken Bay since 1987.
CatholicCare provides a wide range of programs to assist children, young people, individuals and families through our Children’s Services, Family Centres, and Out-of-Home Care programs in Sydney’s North and on the NSW Central Coast.

Catholic Schools Broken Bay
Responsible for overseeing the management of 44 schools (36 primary schools and 8 high schools) and of approximately 15,000 students. Catholic Schools Broken Bay is located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
The Diocese of Broken Bay stretches from Willoughby on Sydney’s lower north shore to Lake Munmorah on the Central Coast. It covers 2,763 sq km and includes both bush and coastal communities. Symbolising our Diocese is the lighthouse, based on the historic lighthouse at Barrenjoey.
Under the guidance of the Director of Catholic Schools Broken Bay, Danny Casey, the Diocese is responsible for overseeing the management of 44 Schools in the area (36 Catholic primary schools, 7 Catholic high schools and 1 K-12 school) and is made up of approximately 15,000 students.
The education and formation of students in Catholic discipleship is at the heart of our Catholic Schools System.
The Chancery
The Catholic Diocese of Broken Bay covers an area of 2,763 square kilometres. The Diocese is nominally divided into three separate geographic regions: the Northern Beaches, containing parishes from Avalon to Manly; the North Shore, from Chatswood north to Arcadia and Berowra parishes; and the Central Coast, from Woy Woy to Toukley, Wyong and Warnervale parishes. There are currently 215,449 people who identify as Catholic in the population of the Broken Bay. The faithful of Broken Bay proclaim the Good News in their daily words and actions.
Bishop Anthony Randazzo was installed as the 4th bishop of Broken Bay in 2019. The diocese has 26 parishes with a full-time resident priest, organised into 5 deaneries. There are 44 Catholic schools in the Diocese with nearly 1900 dedicated and highly professional teachers. There are over 600 professionals in CatholicCare who provide a range of care services across the diocese.
